Advent 2006 - Light Lunch & Bible Study
Theme: It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like . . .

The Presbyterian Mission Center invites you to a lunch-hour program the first three Wednesdays in December entitled "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like. . ." Join us as our guest for a light lunch and a brief Bible study led by area pastors.

Wednesday, December 6, 2006 - Led by Steve Plunkett, Pastor of St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, Denton.

Wednesday, December 13, 2006 - Led by Shannon Kershner, Pastor of Woodhaven Presbyterian Church, Irving

Wednesday, December 20, 2006 - Led by Dale Patterson, Pastor of The Presbyterian Church of Hackberry, Irving.

December is a busy time for nearly everyone. For Christians, it's the time to get ready for Christmas. We call this getting-ready time Advent; it's a time to focus our thoughts on the messages of joy, hope, peace, love and the light of God's gift in Jesus Christ.

"It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like..." will take a look at a Bible passage and with insight and humor, give us a break from our hectic schedules and reminds us of what's truly important about life and faith.
